What’s Happening?

Action sports icon Travis Pastrana will make his second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start of the season later this month with Kaulig Racing.

  • This race will mark Pastrana’s second Truck Series entry of the season. Previously, he drove the No. 42 for Niece Motorsports in the series season opener at Daytona to a 15th-place finish in his first NASCAR start since the 2023 Daytona 500.
  • The 42-year-old has seven career Truck Series starts to his name, dating back to 2012. Notably, none of those starts have come at Charlotte, though five of the seven were on intermediate tracks with one at Kansas Speedway and four at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
  • He does, however, have three career starts at Charlotte in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, one in 2012 and two in 2013. Of those three starts, Pastrana finished no better than 24th, doing so in his first and most recent starts at the track.
  • Pastrana will drive the No. 25 Free Agent Truck for the team on May 22 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This entry, the team’s fifth full-time truck, has a rotating door of drivers, with returning names like Tony Stewart, Clint Bowyer, and Jamie McMurray as part of its roster.
