The return of the 2023 Bristol spring race on concrete was something fans have been clamoring for over the past 3 years. NASCAR and SMI delivered and in doing so the racing for the fans delivered as well. Continuing a terrific start to the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season for completely different reasons than the other the degradation of the tires made for a spectacle of intrigue. This is why Bristol was great (and not a disaster)
