JD Motorsports has been a staple of the NASCAR Xfinity Series for a long time, and their future is very interesting. They have used a few different drivers this season, but, which drivers could they tab to slot into the 4 and the 6 car in 2024?
Stefan Parsons
Stefan Parsons has been a part-time driver in the Xfinity Series throughout his career. This year, he has put together a part-time ride with Bobby Dotter at SS GreenLight Racing and Alpha Prime. Parsons also started out the season with a top-15 finish at Daytona.
With a great finish like that and some funding behind him, Parsons could find himself a spot at a team like JD Motorsports. It may not be a full-time ride, but it could be a good landing spot for Parsons.
Dawson Cram
Dawson Cram is a young driver looking for a chance in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. JD Motorsports may be just the place for him to go, and Cram’s stock is as high as it has ever been. Cram has recorded his first two top-25 finishes in his last two Xfinity Series starts.
He is proving himself to be getting better each time he grips a steering wheel. JD Motorsports is a team that could be a perfect landing spot for Cram, and it could allow him to continue to run more races than he has in the Xfinity Series.
Josh Bilicki
Josh Bilicki would be a great candidate to drive on the road courses for JD Motorsports. He may be one of the most underrated road course races in NASCAR given the equipment he has primarily driven in. He’s driven for Live Fast in the Cup Series this year, the team that is last in owner’s points, and he has gotten respectable results while keeping the car in one piece every time.
In the Xfinity Series, he finished eighth at Road America earlier this season for Mario Gosselin and DGM Racing. He has talent on road courses, and that could make him an interesting candidate to race in the Xfinity Series on road courses with JD Motorsports.
JD Motorsports has plenty of options for 2024, but will they find their guy to race full-time? That is what we are waiting to see.
