What’s Happening?
Another up-and-coming driver, an ARCA Menards Series regular, is being called up to the Truck Series for 2025. Former AM Racing driver Christian Rose is getting a full-time call from Niece Motorsports for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
- Rose follows up his second full-time season in ARCA with a promotion. He will drive the No. 44 for Niece Motorsports next season, and this includes a switch from Ford to Chevrolet.
- Christian made his ARCA main series debut in 2022 and has since scored five top-fives and 24 top-tens. At 29 years old, Rose will be an aged rookie in the series; however, for a late start to his racing career, Rose is ascending the ranks quickly, making his truck series debut in 2023.
- Niece already confirmed that Matt Mills will return to the No. 42 for a second season in 2025. Furthermore, the team is bringing on former part-time talent and short-track superstar Kaden Honeycutt to drive the No. 45 full-time in 2025.
- Last season, Niece fielded three full-time trucks, the No. 41, 42, and 45, and the No. 44 part-time. Niece is a nine-time winner in the Truck Series; however, following a stellar 2023, 2024 felt like a transitional year for the team.
- One major question for Niece next season is whether Bayley Currey will return to No. 41 in 2025. While there is no confirmation that this ride has a driver, Niece has shown a carrying capacity of three full-time trucks, perhaps leaving him the odd man out.
