According to a recent Bob Pockrass report, Rajah Caruth has his plans set for 2024, and it seems it will likely be in the Truck Series. However, Caruth did not mention specifics on his 2024 plans, so, where could he possibly go in 2024?
Update:
Truck Series: Rackley W.A.R.
Rackley W.A.R. is looking for a driver in 2024, and, if Caruth wants to stay in Trucks, the match could be perfect. Rackley is a team that is truly up-and-coming, and the sky seems to be the limit. Signing a young prospect like Caruth who eventually moves upward can go a long way towards that team building a reputation as a team that can be a springboard. However, he has a lot of competition for this ride in all likelihood.
Truck Series: CR7 Motorsports
CR7 is looking for a driver heading into 2024 with Colby Howard moving on. Given that this is a Chevy team, this could be an interesting landing spot for Caruth, and he could elevate the performance there. It is a team that has shown flashes at times, but, overall, they have not been able to rise above that mid-to-back-of-the-pack type of race team. This looks like a potential landing spot for Grant Enfinger as well given his history with the team, however, so, Caruth may have some competition for this ride.
Truck Series: Young’s Motorsports
Spencer Boyd ran full-time for Young’s Motorsports and Randy Young for 2023, but, the team typically entered 3 Trucks per race with no second full-time driver. Caruth could slide into that spot at Young’s Motorsports, and it is a race team that has won two races in its’ history at Talladega in 2019 and 2021. Caruth may struggle some in this equipment, but it is equipment that has won races.
Caruth has a lot of options potentially in front of him for 2024. Time will tell where he ends up.
