What’s Happening?

Homestead-Miami Speedway was the longtime host of NASCAR Championship Weekend and notoriously puts on some of the best racing in the Cup Series. Many drivers love the track, and so do the fans who flock to HMS to catch the best stock-car drivers in the world one weekend per season.

  • Beautiful Florida weather and great racing draw many campers to Homestead-Miami each year.
  • The track hosts only one race per year, which means fans and campers will flock to the venue for the limited opportunity to spend the weekend at the track.
  • Nearby Miami offers campers the opportunity to be near endless entertainment options, including the beach, nightlife, dining, etc.

Amenities & Highlights

When arriving at Homestead-Miami campgrounds, many amenities are included in your stay.

Showers are available on-site for all campers. Food delivery, free entertainment, a dog park, shuttles to and from the track, and 24-hour security on-site are included

National Wrecker Service will be able to assist with basic service repairs during select hours.

Beach Base is another option that can be added to your experience. Located on a 20,000 square-foot beach inside of Turn 3, Beach Bash sits on a spring-fed 7-acre infield lake that spans the width of the backstretch. It includes live entertainment, unique food and beverage options, beach and water activities, and more

  • Site sizes range from 20’ x 50’ – 30’ x 50’
  • Campers move-in as early as Wednesday of race week
  • Mix of grass and dirt lots
  • Race ticket required for all

Campground Details

Camping at Homestead-Miami is a picturesque environment, with a family-friendly feel and vacation-like vibe as you camp under the Florida sun. Quiet hours are mandatory between 12AM-6AM, with 24-hour security available. Proper permits must be displayed at all times. Grass and dirt camping spots are available, and check-in times start Wednesday before the race Check-out is at noon on the Monday following the race. Unauthorized vehicles, golf carts, off-highway/off-road carts, cycles, scooters, etc., will not be permitted inside camping areas, but bicycles are permitted
