What’s Happening?
This weekend, the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts and Cup Series head south to EchoPark Speedway. So, whether you are going to be at the track or home, what does the forecast look like for the race weekend in Hampton, Georgia?
- EchoPark Speedway, more commonly known as Atlanta Motor Speedway, is a long-time staple of the NASCAR schedule. Though the track has seen plenty of changes during its lifetime, the venue is still a fan favorite.
- The NASCAR Cup Series first raced at Atlanta in 1960, hosting a double date at the track until 2010, and returning to two races at the track in 2021. The OAP Series did not race at the track until 1992, and even then, it has a spotty history, missing seasons, and only added a second race in 2021.
