Iowa Speedway Weather History
Iowa Speedway is no stranger to rain delays. The 2013 DuPont Pioneer 250, held in June of that year, was postponed from Saturday night to Sunday morning due to rain. Trevor Bayne took home the win just a few days after getting married. He passed Austin Dillon, who led 207 laps that day, with just 12 laps to go.
The last Craftsman Truck Series race at the venue was in 2019, which was postponed from Saturday to Sunday. Ross Chastain crossed the finish line first but was later disqualified after failing post-race inspection. Brett Moffitt was credited with the win despite not leading a single lap in the entire race.
