What’s Happening?

It’s undeniable at this point that it has been a career year for Tyler Reddick and his No. 45 team for 23XI Racing. In the first nine races of the 2026 season, Reddick has won five of them, including three in a row to start off the year with the Daytona 500, Atlanta, and COTA. That gives him a 55.55% win percentage to start the year, which is absolutely insane. With numbers like that, there’s a staunch argument to be made that Tyler Reddick is one of if not the hottest prospects in the NASCAR Cup Series garage right now. But, before silly season could really get underway and other teams could have their chance to make a pitch to Reddick, he’s already off the market.

It was confirmed today on the FOX broadcast that Tyler Reddick has signed a multi-year contract extension to stay with his 23XI team for the foreseeable future. While the exact terms of the agreement haven’t been made public, one thing is for sure: Tyler Reddick intends to be racing for 23XI Racing for a long, long time.

  • Tyler Reddick is undeniably one of the hottest prospects in Cup right now. He’s leading the points by a wide margin, thanks to his 5 wins, but also 7 top 10s, 6 of those being top 5s. His worst finish to start the year is a 15th at Martinsville.
  • Reddick joined the team a year early in 2023 after Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, the team owners, bought him out of his contract with Richard Childress Racing. And, considering how RCR is running right now, that might be a blessing in disguise.
  • Starting in 2023, Reddick joined the team on a somber note, replacing the injured Kurt Busch following his career-ending crash at Pocono in 2022. Since joining the team, Reddick has gone on to win 10 races, despite going winless in 2025.
