What’s Happening?

Jesse Love, the reigning NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year, will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut this season. At only 20 years old, Love will pilot the Richard Childress Racing No. 33 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Apr. 13.

  • Love is the second confirmed driver of RCR’s No. 33. He will share the car with fellow RCR Xfinity Series talent Austin Hill. Hill will make five starts in the car, but Love is expected to make multiple starts as well.
  • In a press release from RCR, Team Owner Richard Childress said, “To be a great driver, you have to have passion behind the wheel, and Jesse has that. We’ve seen him develop over the last year since he joined RCR, and I look forward to helping him compete at the highest level of our sport.”
  • The 20-year-old is bringing along an Xfinity Series sponsor, pre-workout brand C4 Ultimate Energy, for his debut. Love has three ARCA Menards Series starts at Bristol and finished 4th in his lone Xfinity Series start at the track in 2024.
  • Love signed with RCR last season after a championship season with Toyota’s Venturini Motorsports during the 2023 ARCA season. Love won one race last season and had seven top-fives, 18 top-tens, and five poles, finishing eighth in series points.
