- Avedisian will also make a subsequent start in the ARCA Menards Series West race at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Oct. 10. Her debut at DuQuoin, a one-mile dirt oval, will be familiar territory, as the 18-year-old is an experienced dirt racer.
- Avedisian, who made her name in dirt racing, has made a solid transition to asphalt and is the first woman to win in the CarsTour PLM. Earlier this season, Avedisian won the series season opener at New River All-American Speedway.
- In a press release from Venturini, Avedisian said, “The most important goal for me right now is gaining experience. It’s a stretch to think about walking into the series and winning but I have a lot of confidence in myself and will execute and focus on one race at a time.”
- Racing with Venturini has been a key step in the development of several top NASCAR talents. However, the long-time staple of Toyota’s developmental ladder is in its final season, as the team plans to sell its operation to Nitro Motorsports after this season.
