What’s Happening?

Venturini Motorsports, a long-time staple of the ARCA Menards Series, has announced that it has sold its operation to Nitro Motorsports. Venturini will finish out the 2025 season as planned, with the sale effective on Oct. 15, 2025.

  • After the sale, current Venturini Motorsports owner Billy Venturini will be the General Manager of Nitro Motorsports until the conclusion of next season. To many, Venturini Motorsports is known as the premier Toyota team in the ARCA Menards Series. However, Toyota is not losing these entries, as Nitro will continue to enter Toyotas after the sale.
  • Nitro, known for its efforts racing in the Trans Am series, is in its first season in the ARCA Menards Series. The team currently fields two drivers, Amber Balcaen, who races part-time, and Thad Moffitt, who races full-time in the No. 46.
  • In a press release from the team, Venturini said, “The last 20 years [as owner and General Manager] have been very rewarding but also incredibly demanding. I love what this sport has given to me, but in return, I gave it everything I had.”
  • Upon its dissolution, Venturini Motorsports will be remembered as one of the most influential ARCA teams of all time. The team has won multiple ARCA championships and fielded cars for current and future NASCAR stars like Christopher Bell, Jesse Love, and Corey Heim.
  • Venturini Motorsports is currently fielding two full-time entries, with driver Lawless Alan in the No. 20 and Isabella Robusto in the No. 55.
