NASCAR heads to Nashville Super Speedway this weekend, and while the name says “super speedway,” this place races much more like Dover than Daytona. Eric Estepp was joined by Ryan Stevens from Win the Race to break down why Nashville is one of the toughest tracks to predict, especially with a unique tire combination and the chaotic racing we saw recently at Dover. The episode also dove into whether Toyota’s dominance can continue, or if Team Penske is finally set to strike back.
Eric and Ryan also discussed how difficult Nashville is to compare to any other track on the schedule, with concrete surface changes, tire wear, and track position all expected to play major roles. While the Toyotas have controlled many of the 750-horsepower races this season, Ryan believes the Fords, especially Penske and its affiliates, may finally have the right setup to challenge them this weekend.
