The Xfinity & Truck Races We Would LOVE To See Kevin Harvick In Next Year

While on the Dale Jr. Download following the Phoenix weekend, Kevin Harvick did not close the door on potentially racing in 2024. While he admitted that he would never run in Cup ever again, he did say that he may look at running Xfinity or Trucks in 2024 at some point. With his main focus being on the Fox TV booth for the first half of 2024, what races could Harvick run in the Xfinity or Truck Series for 2024?

Phoenix (Xfinity/Trucks): November 8th OR 9th

With Kevin Harvick’s incredible record at Phoenix, this would be an awesome race to see Harvick try once again. The issue with Harvick is that the spring weekend is a weekend when Fox broadcasts, which is likely a no-go for Harvick. The only other weekend is Championship weekend, which may not be a good weekend either given that most prominent teams will be dead set on trying to win a Championship. This is unlikely, but it would be fun.

Michigan (Xfinity): August 17th

Kevin Harvick has six career wins at Michigan International Speedway, and the race falls under a good time frame for Harvick. It is in August, which is well beyond the Fox portion of the season, and it is still a few weeks before the Playoffs start. It’s a race at a track that Harvick has had success at, which means he could have a shot to run well. Maybe the high speeds at Michigan could turn Harvick away, but, it’s not a drafting-style race, which could keep him interested.

Richmond (Trucks): August 10th

Richmond is the place where Harvick got his final career win in 2022, and he has four career wins at the track. While the spring weekend is not ideal, given it is a Fox weekend, maybe the Truck Series race in August could be a race Harvick runs. It is the final race before the Playoffs in the Truck Series, so, some teams may be wary of fielding another car for this race. However, it would be fun for Harvick to race at a track he has won at multiple times.

New Hampshire (Xfinity): June 22nd

New Hampshire may be the closest related track to Phoenix in terms of length and style of racing. Harvick has won there four times, and the Xfinity Series heads there on June 22nd. This is in the midst of the regular season with the Playoffs still a ways away, however, it may be too close to the Fox portion of the schedule for Harvick’s liking. Fox’s last race is two weeks before New Hampshire, so, does Harvick want to travel to another track just two weeks from his broadcasting season ending?

Milwaukee (Trucks): August 25th

This is the definition of a wild card race, but, it would be an interesting event to have Kevin Harvick race. It is a flat, 1-mile race track, and, being the Truck Series only standalone event of the year, a surprise entry like Harvick could help attendance and TV numbers. It would be interesting to see at the very least.

What races would you like to see Kevin Harvick compete in in 2024? Will he compete in any NASCAR races in 2024?
