Shane Hmiel is widely known as one of the biggest “What ifs” in NASCAR, however his story is long and controversial. In the early 2000s, he was a hot commodity and a rising star. By 2006, he was banned from NASCAR forever. After an unbelievable comeback in USAC, his racing career came to a tragic end.
