The Legend of Groovy Hollow did not begin with this book. Rather, it adds to the lore of the race. Groovy Hollow started in 2021 as a Halloween-themed iRacing event. iRacing is a racing simulator used by fans and champions of the world’s racing series.
Similar to the reading experience of The Legend of Groovy Hollow, NASCAR YouTuber Eric Estepp set out to create an iRacing event like any other. The race incorporates great sim racing action with Halloween-themed paint schemes and mysteries.
The event also raises funds for Extra Life, a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Toys for Tots. Thanks to the new book, this year’s event, now a multimedia occasion, will be live on the Out of The Groove YouTube Channel on Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. EST.
