What’s Happening?

Frankie Muniz is set for the biggest season of his racing career in 2024. However, his schedule is being created on the fly with rumors circulating about what his next step in racing truly is. As the 2024 season goes on, we will keep track of Muniz’s 2024 racing schedule. Be sure to bookmark this page as we will keep this updated throughout the season, and we will provide updates on how he does throughout the season.

  • Frankie Muniz performed well in his first professional stock car racing season in 2023. He recorded 11 top-10s and 1 top-5 in the ARCA Menards Series for Rette Jones Racing. Muniz’s best finish was 5th at Michigan.
  • With Ford’s support, Muniz is racing part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Emerling-Gase Motorsports. His schedule is being built as the season progresses.
  • Fans are excited to see how Muniz performs in 2024. He impressed in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, and how he faces a new racing challenge.

Race 1: Xfinity Series United Rentals 300 at Daytona (February 19th)

Finished: 37th (DNF)

Breakdown: Unfortunately, Muniz’s first race with Joey Gase Motorsports ended after 37 laps. Muniz was caught up in “The Big One” early in stage two, and he ended up finishing a disappointing 37th.

Race 2: Xfinity Series Phoenix Raceway (March 9th)

Finished: 30th (DNF)

Breakdown: Frankie Muniz’s second race of the season at Phoenix ended in a DNF. His failure was listed as a “Vibration”, and he was done after 156 laps. He finished 30th by virtue of cars that wrecked out early.

Race 3: ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway (April 20th)

Finished: 9th

Breakdown: Frankie Muniz’s 2024 racing schedule took a brief hiatus before a surprise entry at Talladega. He had a quiet day, finishing a solid 9th after qualifying 7th.

Race 4: Pacific Office Automation 147 at Portland International Raceway (June 1st)

Finished: DNQ

Breakdown: Frankie Muniz blew an engine during practice at Portland, meaning he failed to make a qualifying attempt. Since 39 cars entered for 38 spots, Muniz did not qualify for the race.

Race 5: 2024 Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway (June 28th)

Finished: 31st

Breakdown: Muniz improved on his starting position in his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. While only one spot, Muniz brought home his Reamue Brothers Racing truck 31st at Nashville Superspeedway.

Race 6: 2024 Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway

Finished: 12th

Breakdown: Muniz had a stagnant day in Michigan, starting and finishing 12th in what is potentially his final ARCA Menards Series start of the season.

Race 7: 2024 Kubota Tractor 200 at Kansas Speedway

Finished: 29th

Breakdown: Muniz’ had a difficult outing at Kansas Speedway, racing with a broken rib, which he broke prior to practice. Frankie brought it home 29th, two positions better than his starting position.

Races 8: Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway

Finished: 33rd

Breakdown: Frankie had another race in which he qualified better than he finished. However, this is just a small part of his future, as prior to the race at Homestead, Muniz announced a full-time schedule with RBR next season.

Race 9: Phoenix

Muniz announced two more races for his 2024 campaign with Reaume Brothers Racing. One race may be to make up for a missing date at Bristol, which Muniz did not compete in.
