Podcasts in sports are a growing market that has given listeners a new perspective on the sport they consume. NASCAR is no different with multiple podcasts making up the NASCAR media landscape. For new fans who are looking for a podcast to listen to or a current fan looking to add to their library, these are the five best NASCAR podcasts to listen to in no particular order.

Door Bumper Clear is a Dirty Mo Media podcast hosted by NASCAR spotters Brett Griffin, TJ Major, and Freddie Kraft along with Casey Boat. Released every Monday afternoon, the four recap the race of the week while providing a wild and comedic tone to the show. The spotters give their authentic opinions on the latest news and discussions going on in the sport and bring the complete definition of “No Filter.” Famous segments such as “Spot On Spot Off,” “Reaction Theater,” and “What an Idiot.”

The show has also seen multiple different drivers and industry members come on the show as guests, such as Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick. Dale Jr. Download

The Dale Jr. Download is hosted by the owner of Dirty Mo Media, Dale Earnhardt Jr. The longest-tenured podcast on the platform, Jr. provides a perfect balance of talking about the history of NASCAR along with going over what is happening in the sport today. Dale Jr. has hosted the podcast all the way back to his time as a driver in the Cup Series and still uploads multiple episodes a week, bringing his insight to the millions of fans across the sport.

The podcast is most famous for the guests that Dale brings on the show. He’s brought current drivers such as Kyle Larson, to old faces of the sport such as Brian France, to even outsiders who have been lifelong fans such as Cody Rhodes of the WWE. Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin

Actions Detrimental is a podcast hosted by current Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin. This podcast is unique from the others on this list because it’s from the perspective of an active driver and team owner in the sport. Denny provides his thoughts on that weekend’s news in the sport as well as a recap from the driver’s seat from the race that weekend. While the podcast is only in its second year, it has quickly risen as one of the most-listened-to podcasts in the sport and as he has continued to be a vocal presence in the sport, Denny Hamlin’s Actions Detrimental has become one of NASCAR’s premiere podcasts.

The Teardown

For fans who want an immediate race recap after the checkered flag waves, The Teardown is for you. Hosted by the Athletics’ Jordan Bianchi and Jeff Gluck, this show comes out just a few hours after the race has concluded. The two give their thoughts on the race and as journalists in the sport, they give their insight scoop on what is going on for America’s premier stock car racing series. If you want an immediate reaction right after the race’s conclusion, The Teardown is the podcast for you.

The NASCAR Weekly Podcast

The lone non-Dirty Mo Media podcast on this list, the NASCAR Weekly Podcast is hosted by NASCAR YouTubers Eric Esteep, The Iceberg, Black Flags Matter, and Danny B Talks. While similar to the previous podcasts in that the content is based on race recaps and reactions to the sport, the podcast comes from the perspective of fans of the sport. This gives the audience a sense of connection with the podcast as just like them, the hosts are lifelong fans of NASCAR.

The podcast started with two hosts just talking about NASCAR, and it has now evolved to having seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson come on as a guest. The NASCAR Weekly Podcast drops every Wednesday night. The show rotates between hosts meaning one night it will be on The Iceberg’s channel while it will rotate to the other three hosts channels week-by-week. This is the perfect podcast for the fans by the fans.
