George Siciliano, known online by the name Squirrel McNutt, will race in this weekend’s ARCA Menards Series race at Talladega Superspeedway after receiving approval from ARCA.
Siciliano will drive his No. 0 in this race alongside friend and online collaborator Cleetus McFarland.
The two raced together last weekend at Kansas Speedway. This race determined Siciliano’s eligibility to race at Talladega, as, prior to 2026, he had not raced professionally prior to this season.
When he announced his intentions to race at Talladega in ARCA, it was done so with an agreement that he would race at Hickory Motor Speedway in the ARCA East Series, then Kansas Speedway in the main ARCA Series before racing at the superspeedway.
The 33-year-old finished clean at Hickory in 13th, but ran into a roadblock after this race. On an episode of their podcast Bald Eagles, McFarland, whose real name is Garrett Mitchell, and Siciliano shared that ARCA said he needed to race in the ARCA East race at Rockingham in early April.
This proved to be the right move for Siciliano, as he finished ninth and then moved to the main ARCA Series this past weekend, where he finished 12th.
The green flag for Siciliano’s superspeedway debut is scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 PM ET, and the race will air live on FS1.
