What’s Happening?
Caden Kvapil, the son of former NASCAR driver Travis Kvapil, will make his ARCA Menards Series debut this weekend in the Owens Corning 200 at Toledo Speedway.
- Per Brandon White of ARCA.com, Kvapil will drive the No. 24 for Sigma Performance Services. So far, the No.24 has made three starts this season, all with Daniel Dye behind the wheel, finishing in the top ten in all starts, and scoring a best finish of second at Kansas.
- Caden is the youngest son of 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Travis Kvapil. His brother, Carson, races full-time for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and is a former CARS Late Model Stock Tour Champion.
- In his own right, Caden currently races full-time with JRM in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, driving the No. 88. So far through four races, Kvapil has two wins and three podium finishes, and sits atop the points standings 15 points over Connor Jones.
- This race at Toledo will not only mark Kvapil’s ARCA Menards Series debut, but will also serve as a combined event with the ARCA Menards Series East, making it his first start in that series as well. The race at the half-mile oval will air live on FS1 Saturday at 7 PM ET.
