What’s Happening?
Sammy Smith, who currently drives the No. 8 for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, is set to run his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race of the 2025 season on April 18 for Spire Motorsports. The third year Xfinity Series driver has been a part of his fair share of controversy in 2025. A last-lap incident on March 29 at Martinsville Speedway between Smith and Taylor Gray sent the NASCAR world into a frenzy.
