- Chastain will drive the newly full-time No. 32 in four races, starting with the second race of the season at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta. The 33-year-old will follow this up with starts at Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen, and Sonoma.
- The Trackhouse Racing driver is just one of a handful of drivers who will pilot the No. 32 in 2026. This list includes Rajah Caruth, who, when he is not driving JR Motorsports No. 88, will drive the proverbial all-star car for JAR in ten total races.
- Chastain, alongside some starts for Niece Motorsports in the Craftsman Truck Series, will also split NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series duties between JRM and JAR. Chastain and his Trackhouse teammate, Shane van Gisbergen, will drive JRM’s No. 9 in “select races” this season, though the team has yet to flesh out the details.
- Last season, Chastain made five NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, all with JRM, scoring three top-fives and four top-tens. The Florida native has two career wins in the OAP series, but has not been to victory lane since 2019.
