What’s Happening?

Ricky Stenhouse Jr is returning to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the third race of his career with Niece Motorsports.

  • Stenhouse made his Truck Series debut with Niece earlier this season at Daytona International Speedway. This was part of a stacked, noteworthy lineup for the team at the track, which included Stenhouse, Travis Pastrana, and Garrett Mitchell, aka Cleetus McFarland.
  • In his series debut, Stenhouse did not disappoint, finishing sixth, the best of the four Niece entries. He followed up this performance at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta that next weekend with a ninth-place finish, again, the best of the niece entries.
  • Both of his starts came with the team’s No. 45 entry, but this time, at Bristol, Stenhouse will switch teams within Niece. He will pilot the team’s No. 4 part-time truck this season, previously driven by Mitchell, Ben Maier, and Connor Hall.
  • Though Stenhouse has never made a Truck Series start at Bristol, he does have moderate success at the track in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts and Cup Series. This includes several top-five finishes at the track during his time with Roush-Fenway Racing in the Cup Series.
