Richard Childress Racing prospect Carson Brown will make his NASCAR National Series debut this weekend at Iowa Speedway, driving for Jordan Anderson Racing.

The 18-year-old has made waves over the past year following his signing as RCR’s latest developmental driver last November. So far this season, Brown has spent his time racing in the ARCA Menards Series East, where he has three top-five finishes.
Last month, Brown caught the attention of fans when he posted a photo of himself testing a NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series car at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Of course, racing for JAR was not something fans expected, though the team is in an alliance with Richard Childress Racing.
For his series debut, Brown will drive the No. 32 car, an “All-Star” car that has fielded a rotation of drivers throughout 2026. Among those names are Jordan Anderson, Ross Chastain, Andrew Patterson, Tyler Ankrum, and Rajah Caruth as the car’s anchor driver.
Though RCR has yet to announce long-term plans for Brown beyond 2026, it is expected that he is in the fold for a full-time OAP Series effort next season. The team’s 2027 OAP Series lineup is up in the air with Jesse Love and potentially Austin Hill departing for full-time Cup Series spots.
