Kyle Busch Motorsports is suing Rev Racing over late payments claiming a breach of contract. KBM claims in the lawsuit that Rev Racing owes them $325,000 in late payments from 2023. WSOC-TV Channel 9 reports that Rev Racing gave them a statement saying the situation will be “resolved amicably”.

  • Rev Racing is the “Competition arm” of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program, and they won their first Craftsman Truck Series race with Nick Sanchez at Daytona. Rev Racing was aligned with Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2023, but that alliance ended when Spire Motorsports bought out KBM at the end of 2023. Spire and Rev Racing are now in an alliance.
  • Kyle Busch Motorsports shut its doors after the 2023 season when Spire Motorsports bought it out. KBM claims that Rev Racing failed to make one payment and made one “incomplete payment” according to the Charlotte Business Journal.
  • Fans are surprised by this, and it is always a big deal when race teams take legal action against each other. No one really knows how this will play out.
