What’s Happening?
Kyle Larson has won the pole for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol. Larson is doing triple duty this weekend, having finished second in the Truck Series on Friday. Larson still has two more shots at a win this weekend. He won two of three at Homestead; he could do it again, as he seems fast, but it certainly won’t be easy. The Xfinity race is scheduled for 5 PM EST on the CW.

Ones to Watch
Kyle Larson: He is a Cup Series champion, in a Hendrick car, at one of his best tracks. Larson is going to be a contender for the win, and that is if he doesn’t dominate. The 17 is sitting on pole for the race.
Justin Allgaier: Besides being the only driver to win more than once at Bristol in the field on the Xfinity Series and being the fastest in practice, Allgaier ranks 3rd on all-time laps led at the track, with 1174, only behind Cup legends Kyle Busch (2204) and Kevin Harvick (1217). He also has the best average finish and the most experience out of anyone on the field, not to mention the stellar season he’s had up to this point. He will roll off P4.
Connor Zilisch: It’s his first-ever start at Bristol, and he will already roll off ahead of all the regulars. Zilisch is still looking for his first career oval track win, and it could come this Saturday.
Sammy Smith: Despite recent controversy, it’s undeniable that Sammy Smith has been fast, especially on short tracks. He will roll off P8.
Nick Sanchez: He looks fast, having turned the fastest lap in practice, and that is despite not having raced there since 2022. Don’t sleep on Sanchez. He will start in the 7th spot.
