Traffic is an issue that affects many sporting events, but this week at Pocono, track officials and local authorities let everyone down, and some people missed up to half of the race. Brake Hard is here to break down everything about the Pocono traffic debacle.

  • This week, fans of Pocono Raceway were excited to hear that their track had sold out. Getting that many people in the stands is always good for a race track, but should a track still hold that many people if it doesn’t have the infrastructure to support them?
  • It’s always a good idea to show up early for NASCAR races, given all of the fun activities you have in the midway and just in case of excessive traffic, but how many hours is too many to wait in deadlock traffic before you decide to go home?
  • There’s no doubt that the traffic this weekend was a problem, and if Pocono expects to keep selling our races, this problem needs to be fixed. How would you fix the traffic problem?

Who do you think is to blame for the traffic debacle? How early do you leave for races? Let Brake Hard know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
