What’s Happening?

With iRacing’s 2026 Season 2 coming to an end, the company has announced new NASCAR additions ahead of the launch of the Season 3 build of their subscription-based online racing platform.

In February, iRacing announced the addition of a new NASCAR car and Track to the in-game catalog of its self-titled subscription-based online racing platform.

These came in the form of the return of RAM Trucks to the game’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series roster and the addition of the St. Petersburg Grand Prix circuit to their lineup of tracks.

As part of their upcoming 2026 Season 3 additions, iRacing is adding another new NASCAR race car to the game and another new, highly anticipated track.

Per the latest iRacing Development Update blog, NASCAR fans will soon have a chance to drive a Euro NASCAR, with the incoming addition of the Euro NASCAR RC01.

While the addition of a new car is always exciting for fans, iRacing is finally set to release one of it;s most anticipated tracks in recent history.

Upon the release of iRacing’s 2026 Season 3 build, fans will be able to race on the streets of San Diego’s Naval Base Coronado on the 16-turn, 3.4-mile street circuit that is officially called Qualcomm Circuit.

iRacing, which had a hand in helping NASCAR build the track’s layout, has teased its release in recent months, though fans were uncertain whether or not this would be before NASCAR’s June 19-21 race weekend at the base.

Much like past renders of NASCAR circuits used by iRacing, while it is not stated in this update, the render used in iRacing of Qualcomm Circuit could very well be the one eventually used in the company’s next NASCAR console game.

Additionally, iRacing also announced a tweak to another track on the 2026 NASCAR calendar, with a cosmetic “Refresh” to Chicagoland Speedway, which is hosting its first Cup Series race weekend since 2019, during July 4th weekend.

Last year, iRacing completed a major overhaul of several tracks on the NASCAR National Series schedule, with updates to the look and occasionally even the feel of these tracks.

With Chicagoland’s return to the schedule, it will also get an update to match the current crop of National Series tracks.
