What’s Happening?
AM has removed its No. 25 from the entry list for this weekend’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Rockingham Speedway, per the latest entry list from NASCAR.

- As of presstime, AM has not commented on the matter, with their most recent social media posts featuring content from this past week at Martinsville. Driver Nick Sanchez, who moved to the team as part of an abrupt off-season shift, has also not commented on their withdrawal from the race.
- This move came seemingly out of nowhere, with the team having a spot on the preliminary entry list on Monday afternoon. But, fans and media members quickly took notice when an updated list from Tuesday afternoon featured a star by the No. 25, which shows they have withdrawn.
- Sanchez, despite his signs of talent and on-track success, did not return to his former ride with Big Machine Racing this season after most expected him to return. In a similarly odd offseason, AM found Sanchez after a failed merger with ARCA Team SPS Racing, which fell through days before the season opener at Daytona.
- Last season, with driver Harrison Burton, AM made the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs for the first time. So far this year with Sanchez, through seven races, the team sits 25th in points.
- AM is not the only noteworthy team missing from this weekend’s race, as Barrett-Cope Racing’s full-time No. 30 entry did not enter the race.
