What’s Happening?

Mopar is back as a primary sponsor in NASCAR for the first time since 2010, with the brand set to sponsor Daniel Dye’s Kaulig Racing Ram full-time during the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.

Before Dodge and Ram officially left NASCAR at the end of the 2012 season, Mopar, Chrysler’s in-house (OEM) parts and service brand, made its name in NASCAR a staple sponsor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series since the series’ inception.

Officially, Mopar last served as a primary sponsor in the NASCAR National Series in 2010, sponsoring Brad Keselowski’s No. 12 Penske Racing entry in the 2010 Cup Series Spring Race at Atlanta Motors Speedway.

But, since 2010, the brand has sponsored a Truck, and was last seen on the side of Ryan Blaney’s No. 29 Brad Keselowski Racing Ram throughout the 2012 Truck Series season.

Regardless, Mopar was a staple sponsor of the early years of NASCAR’s Truck Series, aligning itself with names like Bob Keselowski, Jimmy Hensley, and Dennis Setzer.

In 2001, Mopar began what is likely its most iconic pairing when it sponsored Ultra Motorsports’ driver Ted Musgrave’s No. 1 truck.

During their five seasons together, Musgrave netted Mopar 16 wins and the 2005 Craftsman Truck Series Championship, all while piloting one of NASCAR’s most iconic truck series paint schemes.

In rejoining NASCAR, Mopar finds itself teamed up with other returning legendary sponsors like Cummins Engines, who will sponsor Brenden ‘Butterbean’ Queen, as part of a 2026 rebirth for Ram in the Craftsman Truck Series.

Ram, now owned by Stellantis alongside Mopar and Dodge, is rejoining NASCAR with Kaulig Racing, which is fielding five full-time trucks during the 2026 season.
