It’s time for another Silly Season update and it’s hard to keep up with all the new details coming out like a future Hall of Famer retiring this year. luckily for us, we have Matt from Brake Hard here to give us an update on everything that’s happening.

  • It feels like it’s a third year in the row where this subject has popped up but a new potential opening spot for the Silly Season could be the number 19 Joe Gibbs car. Do you think Truex could retire this year?
  • An unexpected development in the charter agreement is that NASCAR could be capping the amount of charters a team can have at three. This means for Trackhouse racing, since they currently have four drivers one of them will have to be left out. Who do you think it will be?
  • Another team that clearly wants a third charter is 23XI and with the financial backing that they have and the development backing from Joe Gibbs racing it’s clear that they could put someone in a good position to win a few races. What driver do you think will be driving for 23XI next year?

What SHR driver do you think will get the best seat? What are your predictions for Silly Season? Let Brake Hard know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
