What’s Happening?

The NASCAR Manager mobile game has added two new drivers to its lineup. RCR’s Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon join the game as its fifth and sixth officially licensed drivers.

• NASCAR Manager is not a typical racing game. Similar to games like Madden Mobile, the strategy differs from traditional NASCAR games. Instead of being a driver, you call the shots for your team. Players can sign drivers and make in-race decisions that affect that driver’s finishing results.
• The game was initially released on Nov. 21, 2023, and made by Hutch Games Ltd. Hutch also has officially licensed games similar to NASCAR Manager, including F1 Clash and Forza Customs. When it was released, the game notably had no licensed teams, with Hutch having the licensing of NASCAR rather than the teams.
• Some fans were disappointed because NASCAR Manager had official tracks but not teams. Fortunately, the game added its first officially licensed team on Jul. 23, adding Hendrick Motorsports’ drivers and cars. Now, with RCR and Hendrick in-game, more teams could likely enter in the future.
