- Honeyman will drive the No. 62 truck for Halmar Friesen Racing next weekend. This entry marks his first NASCAR start of 2026 and his first in the Truck Series since the fall 2022 Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
- Prior to this week, Honeyman had not announced plans to race in the NASCAR National Series in 2026; however, he had planned to race with Nitro Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series. That deal seemingly fell through after a now-settled February lawsuit filed against Honeyman by the team.
- The 21-year-old last raced in NASCAR in the then-NASCAR Xfinity Series finale at Phoenix Raceway for Cope Family Racing. As part of shared duties in that No. 70 car last season, Honeyman scored two top tens in 18 starts with the team.
- The No. 62 was initially a part-time team fielded by Halmar Friesen, but the team transitioned to full-time racing this season. With a rotating door of drivers, including names like John Hunter Nemechek, Wesley Slimp, Christopher Bell, Mike Christopher Jr., and Cory Roper, the team has one win and sits 15th in owner’s points.
