NASCAR fans have followed the charter agreement closely for two years now, and it seems to have finally hit a climax. With NASCAR giving the teams an ultimatum and two teams refusing to sign, there’s a lot to catch up on with Eric Estepp on Out Of The Groove.
- According to the owner of Front Row Motorsports, they were given a 105-page contract, and then we’re asked to sign it within six hours. Do you think this was a fair thing for NASCAR to do?
- Over the last few weeks, NASCAR has been trying to get this charter agreement signed, including threatening to revoke charters from teams that don’t sign. Do you think NASCAR should be allowed to take away charters from teams?
- In the corporate world, we’ve seen that when companies have too much control and corporate power in the market, they are labeled a monopoly and usually have to give up some of their power. Do you think the same thing can happen to NASCAR?
