What’s Happening?

On November 8, South Boston Speedway is hosting the State Water Heaters Krush 250, featuring top late-model drivers and appearances by special guests from the world of NASCAR, all for a great cause.

  • This weekend, Virginia’s South Boston Speedway is hosting the 2025 State Water Heaters Krush 250 presented by Rogers. This event features top late-model action, a pre-race concert, and guest appearances at the legendary track, all in support of the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation.
  • The race will feature 250 laps of top-tier late model action, with drivers competing for a $75,000 purse. Race day events kick off at 9:30 AM on Saturday, with Practice, followed by qualifying at 11:00 AM, before the green flag drops at 2:30 PM.
  • But, before the racing action starts, make sure to stick around the track, as there will be a free 12:30 PM on-track autograph session and a pre-race concert from the Boilin’ Brothers. Also, be sure to swing by the midway for some family fun and look out for free samples from the great folks at Peanut Patch.
  • Tickets are on sale now, with $20 advance tickets for adults ($25 at the gate) and free admission for kids 12 & under.
