NASCAR Adds IN-SEASON Tournament!

Another major change to the 2025 NASCAR schedule was just announced to add some entertainment to the dog days of summer. Eric Estepp from Out Of The Groove has his power rankings out toon in  find out where your driver ranks 

• Last year, Denny Hamlin had a solution to make the midseason more entertaining, and this was the Denny Hamlin bracket challenge, a March madness style tournament for NASCAR. Next year NASCAR is going to make this midseason tournament official and give a $1 million prize. Do you think this will increase viewership in the middle of the summer?
• With 16 drivers all going head to head with one another at one race, it may be a little bit chaotic for the broadcast team to explain to the viewer, especially with a network that’s hosting its first NASCAR races in a very long time. How do you think TNT will handle this in-season tournament?
• Unfortunately, Ryan Blaney moved down two spots in the Out Of The Groove power rankings but there’s a new driver in the top 10. What position does your favorite driver?
