NASCAR is parting ways with a long-time official, Race Director Jusan Hamilton, though, upon the confirmation of this separation, NASCAR gave no reason for his departure.

• Long-time fans of the sport may remember David Hoots as the long-time NASCAR Cup Series Race Director, though NASCAR has shifted this role to more than one individual in recent seasons. In this case, Hamilton was one of two Race Directors, and Tim Bermann was expected to fill the role for the remainder of the season.
