Since coming to Hendrick Motorsports in 2021 Kyle Larson has been the driver to beat in the NASCAR Cup Series. Including 2024 he has had 23 wins in 4 years and 2024 would be a near career high in wins with 6, second most in his career. Yet with all of that Larson will not be coming to Phoenix with a chance at title #2 but instead is out. This is the story of Kyle Larson’s 2024 Missing Ring.

  • What do you think was the key to Larson’s dominance in his first season with Hendrick Motorsports, securing 10 wins and his first Cup Series championship? Was it the team’s performance, his driving skills, or a combination of both?
  • How did Larson’s early struggles at the super speedways influence his 2024 season trajectory? Despite the challenges, he managed to be consistent and hold a strong lead—what do you think fueled his persistence?
  • Kyle Larson made headlines in 2024 when he claimed to be a better all-around driver than Max Verstappen. What did you think of this bold statement? Was it a sign of Larson’s confidence, or did it hurt his image after his crash at Michigan?
