- ThorSport teased the signing of a new driver late last night on X. Though the mysterious post had several revolving themes, many fans noted the inconsistency of a Capitalized L and B in the photo. Several fans quickly suggested that Baldwin was the team’s new talent.
- The 19-year-old made his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour last season in New Hampshire. However, he has been working his way into the NASCAR National Series through several different disciplines, including Late Models and Modifieds.
- Baldwin’s father, Tommy, is a veteran Crew Chief and once a team owner in the NASCAR Cup Series. His resume includes five wins, including the 2002 Daytona 500 with Ward Burton and Kasey Kahne’s first career win in 2005. Baldwin also entered cars as an owner in the NASCAR Cup series from 2009 to 2020.
- Baldwin is the newest addition to ThorSport Racing’s No. 66’s part-time lineup. With the apparent departure of the truck’s former anchor driver, Conner Jones, the team has entered veteran Johnny Sauter and up-and-comer Luke Fenhaus in the truck so far this weekend.
