What’s Happening?
Warner Bros. Discovery’s MAX streaming service, formerly known as HBO MAX, will be the exclusive streaming provider of NASCAR’s in-car camera broadcasts in 2025.
- NASCAR Driver Cam will have in-car footage and audio for all cars in the field throughout the season. The service will also allow fans to view multiple drivers at once alongside on-screen “driver data.”
- NASCAR recently supplied this service through the NASCAR app through premium access at $4.99 a month or $29.99 a season. However, as part of the new media rights deal, MAX is now the exclusive provider of this service.
- The service will debut at the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium this Sunday. This coverage will complement their five races and the second half of practice and qualifying in 2025.
- While this means that MAX will have coverage of every race in 2025, it will only be through in-car view with no commentary. MAX will simulcast the five TNT Sports races beginning on May 25, alongside full coverage of practice and qualifying in the second half of the season.
- MAX is available for streaming on smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and computers. They offer three subscription packages: With Ads at $9.99 a month, Ad-Free at $16.99 a month, and Ultimate Ad-Free at $20.99 a month.
