- Byron will make his start on March 28 at Martinsville Speedway. Larson will drive the No. 07 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 21 and at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 11. This will be Larson and Byron’s first Truck Series starts since the 2023 race at North Wilkesboro.
- Sometimes, drivers take on a Truck Series start in an effort to become better adjusted to a track. However, these two drivers are skilled at these three tracks at the Cup level. Byron won the spring Martinsville race, while Larson won the fall Bristol race and is consistently solid at Homestead.
- Both drivers have spotty histories in the Truck Series. Larson has made scattered starts in the Truck Series throughout his career and is a three-race winner. In contrast, Byron is an eight-time winner in the series and was at one time a championship favorite during the 2016 season.
- Spire Motorsports will have two rotating “all-star” trucks in their 2025 lineup. Other drivers of the No. 7 and No. 07 include HMS Prospect Corey Day, Justin Haley, Kyle Busch, and Michael McDowell. Both Larson and Byron have made starts for Spire in the past.
