What’s Happening?

Kyle Larson’s daughter paid tribute to a champion like a champion, adding some Kyle Busch flair to her celebration following a recent trip to victory lane.

Last week, during NASCAR’s emotional salute to the late Kyle Busch at the Coca-Cola 600, Kyle Larson’s son, Owen Larson, was seen consoling Busch’s son, Brexton Busch, after Busch’s passing just three days before the Crown Jewel race.

During the pre-race ceremony, Owen walked toward Brexton and wrapped an arm around him while tributes poured across the speedway. The moment spread across social media within hours, with NASCAR fans rallying behind the 11-year-old’s gesture.

Now another member of the Larson family has stepped forward to honor Busch. Audrey Larson bowed before the crowd after winning a Junior Sprints race this week, paying tribute to the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion.

The 8-year-old bagged the win Wednesday night at KAM Raceway in the National Open Wheel 600 Series Junior Sprints division. After taking the checkered flag, she celebrated with the now-iconic “Kyle Busch Bow,” the celebration Busch carried into victory lane throughout his rise into one of NASCAR’s household names.

Audrey later uploaded the moment to social media with the Foo Fighters track “There Goes My Hero” accompanying the clip. Meanwhile, Prime Video reported that the Coca-Cola 600 became the platform’s most-watched race broadcast as tributes to Busch poured in throughout the weekend.

Her win came in the Sawyer Chassis NOW600 Junior Sprints division after she started from the second position in the Big R Stores A-Main. Over the course of 20 laps, she outran Mini Sprint Nationals winner Bryton Buoy, along with multi-time winner Tucker Friesen, to bag the win.

Throughout last weekend’s races, similar tributes to Busch continued surfacing across NASCAR. Ross Chastain became the first driver to honor Busch publicly by performing the bow after winning the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Charlotte.

Then, Layne Riggs repeated the gesture after capturing the Truck Series race on Sunday. Eventually, Daniel Suarez recreated the celebration following his Coca-Cola 600 win at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In another emotional scene, two former Kyle Busch Motorsports crew members were also seen bowing toward the truck Busch had originally been scheduled to drive.

Yet fans believe the moment carrying the most weight may still lie somewhere down the road, when perhaps someday, Brexton Busch could climb from his car after another victory and bow before the crowd in tribute to his father.
