What’s Happening?
Kevin Harvick seems to be enjoying the NASCAR on FOX postseason as much as the rest of us. Two weeks after leaving the booth, Harvick returned to behind the wheel and maybe that’s even hiding the lead. For the first time, 2014 Cup Series Champion, Kevin Harvick, raced against his son for the first time. And not only did the father-son duo race against each other, in the end, it was the younger Happy Harvick standing tall…not only against his father, but against the entire field. On May 31, 2025, Keelan Harvick, at Kern Raceway in Bakersfield, California won his first CARS Tour West race at 12-years-old.
Early on in the race, Kevin Harvick was running 3rd and battling for the lead. Unfortunately, the elder Harvick was taken out by the number 16 car, leaving the door wide open for his son, who was running 5th at the time.

Keelan, as a byproduct, took the lead and never looked back. He went on to win the race, scoring his first late model stock race against not only his father but the entire CARS Tour West Series.
