What’s Happening?
Kaulig Racing announced their crew chief lineup for 2024 including Travis Mack for the 16 car in a duel role as Cup Series Technical Director, and Trent Owens for the 31 car. Owens will work with Daniel Hemric as the 31 crew chief, and Mack will likely work with a variety of drivers.

- Travis Mack joins the team from Trackhouse Racing where he has worked the last three seasons with Daniel Suarez. Mack won a race with Suarez in 2022, and Mack also won an Xfinity Series Race with Michael Annett in 2019.
- Trent Owens returns to the team after working with Justin Haley and the 31 car in 2022 and 2023. Owens has worked 10 full-time Cup Series seasons, and he has one career win with Aric Almirola at Daytona in 2014.
- Fans are curious about where Matt Swiderski went following the 2023 season. He worked with A.J. Allmendinger and the 16 car. Others are excited about the move and are curious to see what can happen.
