What’s Happening
On Tuesday night, already a big news day in NASCAR, Adam Stern dropped a bomb by reporting that Josh Berry is close to signing with KHI Management. With the recent success of Berry in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Cup Series and the impending retirement of the companies namesake, Kevin Harvick, the implications of this potential move could be huge.
- Josh Berry currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports, winning five career races. In six Cup Series races this season, he has had three top tens as a substitute driver for Alex Bowman and Chase Elliot.
- KHI Management is a management agency that came from the original Kevin Harvick Incorporated race team run by Harvick and his wife Delena. It currently represents drivers including Harrison Burton, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, and Ryan Preece. Harvick is also retiring at the end of the year, fueling rumors that Berry could be a potential replacement for Harvick with the number 4 Stewart-Haas Racing team.
- Berry has quickly become a fan favorite since coming to the Xfinity Series in 2021. Fans are excited at the potential for this move to propel Berry to the Cup Series full-time.
