Joe Gibbs Racing Announces Their Next Driver

After Christopher Bell’s slip-up last week, Joe Gibbs finally makes their new driver official. The driver may not have been a surprise to the fans, but there is something in this announcement that was. Eric Estepp from Out Of The Groove is here to take us through everything that happened.

• One of the surprises we saw today was that James Small will be the Crew Chief for Chase Briscoe. Small hasn’t had much success in his NASCAR Cup Series career. Do you think he’s the man for the job?
• We know that Christopher Bell, a guy who loves dirt racing, has been somewhat prohibited from racing on dirt from Joe Gibbs. Do you think Briscoe will have the same fate?
