- In past NASCAR games, including the EA Sports and NASCAR Heat line, players were able to race any series on any track. For example, this could see players take the Cup Series to Iowa Speedway (before it joined the Cup Series schedule) or the Truck Series to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
- Unfortunately, this feature was not in NASCAR 25, the inaugural game in the iRacing Studios series of NASCAR games. In an interview in October 2025, Matt Lewis of iRacing said this was due to the “exponential workload” it would place on developers, such as the need to create setups and pit strategies for each series at each track.

- Though there is no confirmation that this is the case, most fans online were quick to pick up on this, with many begging for the chance to take other series to new tracks.
