- The 22-year-old native of England will pilot the No. 78 truck for Freedom Racing Enterprises. This truck, typically driven by team owner Spencer Boyd, has featured rotating drivers on road courses this season, with Nathan Nicholson driving the truck in the season’s three prior races.
- Foster currently races full-time in the NTT IndyCar Series and sits 18th in points. While his time in the main series has had its highs and lows, he does have quite a record in the Indy NXT series, where he won the 2024 series title with Andretti Global.
- This season, Foster is making his debut in a rather early finale to the NASCAR National Series road course schedule. Due to changes, including the move of Watkins Glen to the spring, and the abrupt cancellation of Charlotte Roval, the 2026 schedule will end road course racing before the summer comes to an end.
- Foster’s debut in NASCAR comes in a race that is expected to be packed with road course aces as the other two National Series are racing in Atlanta. So far, other part-timers include sports car standout Colin Braun and broadcaster/driver Parker Kligerman.
