What’s Happening?

On June 30th, 2025 INDYCAR dismissed its challenge in court for Doug Boles being deposed. On Thursday, June 26th, a U.S. District Court Judge in Indiana put the deposition of Boles on hold pending the outcome on INDYCAR’s motion to stop scheduled deposition. It was originally scheduled to take place Friday, June 27th.

What Does This Mean?

23XI and FRM are reaching out to other major sports to obtain financial information to help gain validity in their anti-trust lawsuit against NASCAR on the new Charter Agreement. They are pursuing litigation against the NHL, NBA, and NFL to get access to these documents. They have reached a settlement with Liberty Media (Formula 1’s parent company) and have obtained the documents from Major League Baseball.

INDYCAR stated that they have already relequished a 650+ page document and stated:

“NASCAR is a competitor and deposing Boles is burdensome and unnecessary.”

As we enter month nine of the lawsuit, the pool of information continues to be filled.
