The Daytona International Speedway is the World Center of Racing, it is the site of the biggest race in NASCAR in the Daytona 500, and it is probably the most famous track the series goes to that has its fame built from NASCAR history. With that being said much of the talk for the last few weeks has been where Daytona is on the 2024 NASCAR schedule. The biggest I saw was Denny Hamlin, but I think that the conversation will get crazier in the coming years. I think that Daytona will one day be the NASCAR season finale, it seems crazy now but so to did the elimination-style NASCAR Playoffs back in January of 2014, so too did a “Chase format” in 2003. This is why a NASCAR finale at Daytona is inevitable.
